DC Madam - suicide or not? Deborah Jeane Palfrey, better known as DC Madam, allegedly hanged herself in her mother’s shed but some say this brings great relief to many upstanding citizens who used her services in the past. For those of you who don’t know, she was convicted on charges for running a high-end prostitution ring, and was out on bail awaiting sentencing. More than one suicide notes were found on the scene, the police said.
