In a little incident the singer Kelis got herself into trouble with the cops for disrupting a police operation. The whole thing happened in the South Beach nightclub district where the authorities were busy talking to some men while Kelis rushed to them and said that one of them was her husband, Nas. She was then charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence, but a jury acquitted her of the charges.
